Thing 7

I have completed Thing 7. I really enjoyed learning more about flickr. I have been on photobucket.com and it is similar to that. Again, it is something that needs to be practiced to become better at it. I look forward to more of this kind of stuff. I can see how this would be beneficial in the classroom to share photos of a field trip or every day activities. Makes me wonder..... :)

Thing 6

I think Thing 6 is very much my thing. I love photos and I want to learn as much as I can. I can definitely see how this could work with my classroom. I can't wait to get into it some more.

Thing 5

Well, interesting. I had no clue that there was so much blogging going on. I am feeling very dumb. Had to ask my buddy Sharon for some help. Thanks, Sharon! I think I am getting it a little more now, but it certainly takes practice. You know what they say, "Practice makes perfect" ?????? Until next time......

Thing 4

Well, thing 4, check! I am a little confused about all that, so we'll see if it gets easier. This was a rough weekend for me. I have a lot on my plate. reports are coming up, assessments, assessments, assessments. Yuck! Oh well, another week. :)

Thing 3

I finished Thing 3 and wow is there a lot of ways that educators use blogs to teach. It was quite a list of things that I want to go through and research further. I am so not a technology person and yet my family comes to me with questions. Go figure?! Stepping out of my comfort zone is a good thing. Remember.... Life is Good. "Do what you like. Like what you do". Until next time...

March 18, 2010

I completed Thing 1 and Thing 2. Creating a blog was not as difficult as expected. I guess the thought of so much new technology is what has me worked up. It seems like one more thing to have to do on a daily basis. Maybe I can use this as therapy. I've decided that laughter is what gets me through my school day. Here is a quote for the day:
Don't work for recognition, but do work worthy of recognition. Until next time......
